Unity Campus Services is a private scheme that sits alongside the government TISHIP programme and adds what TISHIP does not reach — telemedicine, insurance, training and campus payments. Every student enrolled on day one. No sign-up campaign, no take-up problem, no student left out because they could not afford it.
Your Medical Centre is under-resourced and your students know it. The queue is long, the same history is taken over and over, mental health goes unaddressed, and there is no record that follows a student from first year to graduation. Most students who need care do not seek it, and the ones who do arrive late.
| Cover | Sum insured |
|---|---|
| Accident medical cover | ₦300,000 |
| Permanent disability | ₦750,000 |
| Student life cover | ₦1,000,000 |
| Parent or sponsor death — school fees continue | ₦1,000,000 |
The last line is the one families notice. A student whose sponsor dies mid-degree usually leaves. This is designed so they do not.
No account belonging to your institution can read a student's symptoms, consultations, mental health screening or barrier profile. The database refuses those reads. You see how many students enrolled and how many were screened — never who, and never what. Statistics are computed by a server process and any group under ten students is withheld entirely rather than rounded.
This is deliberate, and we will not vary it. A student who believes the university is reading their mental health screen does not take it, and an unused screen helps nobody. The confidentiality is what makes the clinical data worth having.
The same applies to location: a student's position is never visible to the institution, and no movement history is stored anywhere in the system. Campus security is sent a position only during a live emergency alert the student raised.
The agreement is with Josmol Human Capital Resources Ltd, trading as DoktorConnect, which is solely responsible for clinical judgement on the telemedicine platform and carries professional indemnity cover.
The scheme is delivered as Unity Campus Services, a partnership between DoktorConnect, Loreon Learning Academy, WALLX Africa and Bread Plus. Students see one scheme and one point of contact; each partner is responsible for its own service under its own terms.
Unity is private and complements TISHIP rather than replacing it. Section 14(3) of the NHIA Act 2022 expressly permits supplementary private cover for anyone participating in a mandated scheme.
What the subscription does not cover: prescriptions, laboratory tests, physical examination, treatment, admission and emergency care. Those remain with your Medical Centre. We connect students to it — we do not replace it.
Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023: lawful processing, informed consent at every collection point, a published privacy notice, a Data Processing Agreement annexed to the MoU listing every authorised processor, encryption in transit and at rest, and breach notification to the institution and the Commission within 72 hours.
DoktorConnect carries professional indemnity insurance and is solely responsible for clinical judgement on its telemedicine platform. Supplementary private cover is expressly permitted under section 14(3) of the NHIA Act 2022 for anyone participating in a mandated scheme.
